Environment

Las Terrazas Resort has been involved for several years in the preservation of the region's natural resources and the use of renewable energy.

We have a solar-powered water heating system for the indoor swimming pools, as well as a salt chlorinator that sanitizes the water used without the use of sodium hypochlorite.
The outdoor pool ionizer ensures clean, bacteria-free water without the addition of specific chemicals.
In the complex there are containers for the separate collection of waste (plastics, glass and paper in the green bins; organic waste and others in the blue bins) and in the cabins, guests are asked to leave plastic, glass and metal containers outside the bins, so that the cleaning staff can collect them.
The lamps used are LED, which improves electricity energy savings.
The air conditioning units are type A and are kept at 24°C in summer and 22°C in winter.
We train our staff on water conservation and invite our guests to participate in the resource saving policy, asking them not to request towel replacements if they do not consider it necessary.
We preserved the native tree species of the park and built the cabins taking into account the distribution of the oldest specimens.
We support the "SMOKE-FREE SPACE" initiative, with the prohibition of smoking in enclosed public and private spaces.
Do not throw cigarette butts in the forest, remember that it is carpeted with highly flammable pine needles.
